Paying kids for chores is debatable. If you do it, the ledger might as well be fair and visible.
How it works

Set the value of quests
Say 10 points for emptying the dishwasher, 30 for vacuuming the whole place.

Put the allowance in the shop
A "5 €" reward at 200 points, next to the non-monetary rewards.

Pay when the child asks
They request the reward, you confirm, the points go. The payment is on you.
Points first, money if you want
Familyzap counts in points, not money. That is on purpose: it leaves the choice open. Some families convert points into allowance at the end of the month, others spend them on non-monetary rewards, others mix. You can put "5 € allowance" in the shop with a cost in points: the child decides whether they want the money or the movie night.
The books are kept
Every point earned, spent, adjusted or lost shows in the child's history, with date and reason. No more "but you promised". The stats show how much each person earned per week. It teaches something too: waiting to afford something bigger, or spending right away.

Every point movement is dated and explained. Everyone sees the same ledger.
You set the rate
How many points a euro or a dollar is worth is your call. Nothing is imposed.
Not only money
The shop mixes allowance with rewards in time or attention.
Parent lock
Settings and confirmations need the parent code. Points do not hand themselves out.

Does Familyzap pay out money?
No. Familyzap counts points and keeps the history. Paying the allowance stays between you and the child, as before.
Do I have to pay for every chore?
No. Many families keep some quests at zero points: what we do because we live together. Points go on the extra effort.
