Familyzap
About
Familyzap is the chore chart that never stayed on the fridge, in a version that keeps itself up to date.
The app
One account for the home, one profile per person (and per pet). Everyone picks up the phone, taps their face, and sees today's quests. Rotation skips whoever is at judo, parents validate, points land in a reward shop set by the family. A calendar, a room to talk, badges, a hero of the week.
It runs in the browser on any phone and installs like an app. Five languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian.
Who makes it
Familyzap is designed, built and published by DAHULAB, a French SAS. A small studio, a real family to test on, and the wish that "whose turn is the dishwasher?" becomes a settled question.
The app is hosted in France by OVH SAS. No ad trackers, no data sold. Details are in the privacy policy.
What we stand by
- Weeknights first. Everything needed to share chores and reward children stays free.
- Children are not accounts. They have a profile chosen by a parent, without e-mail or password. A parent code protects the settings.
- Lean. Little data, French hosting, no hidden third parties.
Domande frequenti
How does Familyzap work?
One account for the home. Everyone chooses their profile on the phone and sees the quests of the day. Parents validate, and points go into a reward shop the family chooses.
Do children have an account?
No. A child has a profile, chosen by a parent, with no email and no password. A parent code protects the settings.
Do we need to install an app?
No. Familyzap runs in the browser and can be added to the home screen. Five languages: French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.
Is Familyzap free?
Yes for evenings at home: sharing the tasks and rewarding the children stays free.
Are homes public?
No. Each home has its own address, like prenom.familyzap.com. It is not a page to index, and addresses should not be invented.
